Meet Derek & Jill
Derek & Jill Kosek are the founders and owners of Kosek Business Group. Kosek Business Group thrives on a vision to empower others to create freedom through personal development, increased income, mentorship and hard work.
Derek Kosek
Derek has always been driven playing a variety of sports from an early age. Focusing on soccer which led to earning a Division I scholarship before playing with Chicago Fire professional soccer club. Derek earned his degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In the last semester of college, Derek reconnected with a friend who introduced him to a successful group of entrepreneurs. Derek’s underlying drive in athletics had always been to create better financial options and peace of mind. After identifying his vision, he studied those who had the results he wanted and decided to set aside his professional soccer career in pursuit of better options; personally, financially and for his family. This journey began with Derek working as a corporate recruiter while developing a secondary business that after 3.5 years surpassed his corporate income. His passion for peace of mind, building a legacy, and empowering others to create better financial options still drives him today!
Jill Kosek
Jill has always had an entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic. Growing up she played elite club volleyball traveling the country before earning a scholarship at University of Illinois at Chicago. While going to school and playing a Division I sport, she began working as a nanny. She graduated and continued to work as a nanny before taking on responsibilities handling marketing for one of the top periodontal practices in the country. She now enjoys the balance of expanding business while spending important time raising her family and appreciates the opportunity to succeed at both without sacrificing either.
